Indian Railway to ensure ‘jerk-free’ journey to passengers
Indian Railways envisages providing a comfortable jerk free journey to its passengers and endeavours to achieve that with the use of better technology continuously. Currently travel by rail is not that comfortable as travelling by road and Air. In order to minimize the effect of jerks and to improve riding comfort for passengers, Indian Railways has introduced new design of Center Buffer Couplers (CBC) with Balanced Draft Gear (BDG) as per specification prepared by Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO), Lucknow. Ride for a cause this Republic Day
The Cochin Bikers Club (CBC), in association with CGH Earth is also all set to celebrate the 69th Indian Republic Day, with a great ride to remember. The ride will be flagged off from Casino Hotel, Willingdon Island, and the destination would be about 50 km down south the coast, at the Marari Beach Resort-CGH Earth, which would be the turn-around point as well.
