Film Industry has a great role in promoting tourism – PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that film industry has an enormous role in promoting tourism, which has the added benefit of employment generation. He was inaugurating the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai on Saturday, 19th January 2019. The PM took a tour of the Museum, after which he addressed a gathering of the film fraternity. Maharasthra govt approves Rs 1,900 crore tourism project of Mahindra
Mahindra Group is to develop a Bollywood theme-based tourism project in Kandivali area of Mumbai with an investment of Rs 1,900 crore. The proposal is approved by the Maharashtra government through a Government Resolution (GR). The project will be developed on 82,950.5 sqm area belonging to the Mahindra Group on its plot in suburban Kandivali. A high-powered government committee had earlier this year accorded it in the ultra-mega project status. Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali to shoot films in Arunachal Pradesh to boost tourism
Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali Saturday expressed interest in Arunachal Pradesh as a location for his future films to promote film tourism in the state. Malta ties up with Bollywood for tourism promotion
Malta, a small Mediterranean Island is hoping to have 20 per cent growth in Indian tourist arrivals this year. Last year around 4,000 Indian tourists visited Malta in 2017. “With India being one of the biggest upcoming markets for tourism in Malta, we want to exploit its full potential.
