Bihar working hard to promote eco-tourism: Nitish
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said the state has immense potential for tourism and the government is working relentlessly to promote eco-tourism. The Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department of the state government gave a presentation of the draft eco-tourism policy of the state government before the CM through video conference. Multi-crore road and river development projects coming up in Bihar
Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of several road projects and river development works in Bihar tomorrow. Radhamohan Singh, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, will accompany him, along with other officials. Gadkari will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for two national highways projects worth Rs 505 crore in Raxaul. സ്വകാര്യ ടാക്സി സേവനങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ പട്ന ടൂറിസം ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്മെന്‍റ് മൊബൈല്‍ ആപ് അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി പ്രിപൈഡ് ടാക്സി സംവിധാനം തുടങ്ങുന്നു. പദ്ധതി അന്തിമഘട്ടത്തിലാണ്. നഗരത്തിനകത്തും പുറത്തും യാത്രചെയ്യാന്‍ മൊബൈല്‍ ആപ് വഴി ടാക്സി ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യാം. നിലവില്‍ രാത്രികാലങ്ങളില്‍ യാത്രചെയ്യാന്‍ പല സ്വകാര്യ ടാക്സി ഏജന്‍സികളും വ്യത്യസ്ഥ തുകയാണ് ഈടാക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സംവിധാനത്തില്‍ ടാക്സിയില്‍ കുറഞ്ഞ ചെലവില്‍ മികച്ച സേവനങ്ങളോടെ യാത്രചെയ്യാം. ട്രാഫിക് സിഗ്നലില്‍ കിടന്നാല്‍ അമിത തുക ഈടാക്കുന്ന സ്വകാര്യ ടാക്സികളെ പേടിക്കുകയും വേണ്ട എന്ന് ടൂറിസം ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. 2011ല്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നിതീഷ് കുമാറിന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ 50 ടാക്സി സേവനങ്ങള്‍ ലഭ്യമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ജി.പി.എസ്, ഡെബിറ്റ്, ക്രെഡിറ്റ് കാര്‍ഡ്, എ.സി തുടങ്ങിയ സംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ടാക്സി സേവനം കൂടുതല്‍ കാലം നിലനിന്നില്ല. ടാക്സി യത്രാ സേവനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ ബുക്കിംഗ് ആരംഭിച്ചു. കൂടാതെ ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലും സേവനങ്ങള്‍ ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യാം. ഇ-ബുക്കിംഗ്, ഇ-പേയ്മെന്‍റ് സംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍ ഏപ്രില്‍ ഒന്നുമുതല്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക വെബ്സൈറ്റില്‍ ... Bihar to get an eco-tourism push
Web Desk Valmiki Tiger Reserve Bihar is all set to get a facelift with the environment and forest department announcing its plans to set up a separate wing exclusively for promoting and dealing with issues related to eco-tourism.
