Emirates introduces Dubai Visa Application service in Dhaka
Emirates has launched a new service for customers in Bangladesh, giving them the option of applying for short stay visas to at the airline’s ticket counters. Emirates’ Bangladeshi passengers can now easily submit their visa applications for short stay visas at Emirates’ ticket counter in Dhaka. The new visa application service is valid until August 31st for submission while the travel period is until December 10, 2018. The new visa service is complimented by a special offer for Bangladeshi passengers traveling to Dubai during the same time period. World’s largest visa centre opens in Bangladesh’s Dhaka
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and his Bangladeshi counterpart Asaduzzaman Khan Kama inaugurated the world’s largest integrated Indian Visa Application Center at Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka. The ministers launched the new integrated state-of-the-art Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC), by handing over passports with Indian visas to a couple of visa applicants. Rajnath Singh handed over a five-year multiple entry tourist visa to Mohammad Nazrul Islam (freedom fighter category), while Asaduzzaman Khan Kama handed over a five-year multiple entry tourist visa to Amal Chandra Natta (senior citizen category). India relaxes visa submission process for Bangladesh tourists
Relief for the Bangladesh tourists, as from May 20th they can walk-in and submit their applications at the Indian Visa Application Centers (IVACs) in Sylhet, Mymensingh and Barishal without prior appointment. The new move is to further relax, streamline and ease access for Bangladesh nationals to Indian visas as part of ongoing plans of Indian High Commission. The applications will be accepted at the centres from 8am-12pm. “These measures are aimed at easing access to the Indian visa and strengthening people-to-people contacts between India and Bangladesh,” the High Commission said. Rajasthan marks 10.50% rise in tourist arrivals
Rajasthan tourism marks a remarkable increase in tourist arrival, as in 2017 around 475.27 lakh, tourists visited the state which is higher in number when compared with the previous statistics. Around 16.10 lakhs arrivals, out of the total number were foreign tourists with the other half being domestic tourists. More foreign tourists are getting attracted to the state, which is filled with rich heritage and history in the form of forts, arts, festivals and architecture. Dhaka Travel Mart Concludes
Dhaka Travel Mart, the biggest international travel and tourism fair in Bangladesh, concluded. Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, AKM Shajahan Kamal, appreciated the support that Bangladesh received post US Bangla crash and quickly reminded that it is now Bangladesh’s turn to support Nepal.
