ഇന്ത്യന്‍ തൊഴിലന്വേഷകര്‍ക്ക് കനത്ത തിരിച്ചടിയാവുന്ന പുതിയ വിസനയം ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയുടെ ഏറെ ജനകീയമായ 457 വിസസംവിധാനമാണ് പൊളിച്ചെഴുതിയത്. ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയക്കാരുടെ അഭാവത്തില്‍ വിദേശതൊഴിലാളികളെ നിയമിക്കാന്‍ തൊഴില്‍സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അനുമതിനല്‍കുന്ന 457 വിസ സംവിധാനത്തിനു കീഴില്‍ 650 തൊഴിലുകള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇത് ഇരുനൂറായി കുറച്ചതാണ് പ്രധാനമാറ്റം. ഉയര്‍ന്ന തൊഴില്‍വൈദഗ്ധ്യവും ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലെ മികച്ച പ്രാവീണ്യവും നിര്‍ബന്ധമാക്കി. വിസ കാലാവധി നാലു വര്‍ഷത്തില്‍നിന്ന് രണ്ടു വര്‍ഷമായി കുറച്ചതും തിരിച്ചടിയാണ്. അതിവിദഗ്ധ തൊഴില്‍മേഖലയില്‍ മാത്രമേ ഇനി നാലുവര്‍ഷത്തെ വിസ അനുവദിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയിലെ ഒരുലക്ഷത്തോളംവരുന്ന വിദേശതൊഴിലാളികളില്‍ നാലിലൊന്നും ഇന്ത്യക്കാരാണ്. യു.കെ, ചൈന എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളാണ് തൊട്ടുപിന്നില്‍. ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ ഒന്നാമത് നയത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് വിസചട്ടം പൊളിച്ചെഴുതുന്നതെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മാല്‍കം ടേണ്‍ബുള്‍ നേരത്തേ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. 457 വിസ സംവിധാനം ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്ത് തൊഴിലുടമകള്‍ കുറഞ്ഞ വേതനത്തിന് വിദേശികളെ ജോലിക്കെടുക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍ ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയില്‍ തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മ വര്‍ധിക്കുന്നതായി വിമര്‍ശനമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
Australia to introduce new visa to boost economy, jobs
The Australian Government is all set to introduce a new visa for people willing to establish businesses in the country. The visa will not require any mandatory funding outlay and an applicant only must be under 45 years of age and needs to demonstrate ‘vocational English’.
