Pravin Kumar takes charge as CEO of APTA and MD of APTDC
Pravin Kumar IAS has assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority (APTA) & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) on 24th June 2019. A 2006 batch officer, Pravin Kumar earlier served as the District Collector & District Magistrate for West Godavari District before assuming as CEO, APTA & MD APTDC. Andhra Food Festival 2019 attracts food lovers
Bamboo Chicken Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department has organized a food festival at AS Raja Grounds MVP Colony in Visakhapatnam on Friday, 1st March 2019. The event was inaugurated by HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao in the presence of AP Protocol additional secretary M Ashok Babu. The festival showcased different types of indigenous food tastes of Andhra Pradesh, from Araku bamboo chicken and Bhimavaram pickles and Atreyapuram Pootharekulu. Andhra Pradesh Tourism to host three-day air show
The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority (APTA) is planning to host a three-day air show in the city from November 23. The event, titled Air Show-2018, will be held at Punnami Ghat. Air Show-2018 would be held with the support of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). About `2.85 crore will be required to host the event, and the state government has released a government order (GO RT 149) sanctioning the same in principle.
