Letters of Intent has issued to seven agencies under ‘Adopt a Heritage’ Scheme for Vision Bidding. The Amer Fort in Rajasthan, which has been selected as one of the 10 iconic sites from India, stands just second to Taj as far as tourist arrivals are concerned, said the state Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. She was speaking at the inaugural session of the 10th edition of the Great India Travel Bazaar (GITB) at Hotel Lalit in Jaipur. Colva Beach, Goa The Ministry of Tourism has identified ten prominent tourist sites for development into iconic tourist destinations in the country. The plan was announced during the Budget Announcements of 2018-19. The ministry has identified the sites based on the criteria of footfall, regional distribution, potential for development and ease of implementation.
