അവധിക്കാലം: ടൂറിസം പാക്കേജുകളുമായി തൃശൂര്‍ ഡിടിപിസി
വേനലവധിക്കാലം അടിച്ചുപൊളിക്കാൻ തൃശൂര്‍ ജില്ലാ ടൂറിസം ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട് മെന്‍റ് വിവിധ ടൂറിസം പാക്കേജുകള്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. മസിനഗുഡി–ഊട്ടി, ഇക്കോട്രിപ്പ്, പറമ്പിക്കുളം വൈൽഡ് ലൈഫ് സഫാരി, തെന്മല ഇക്കോ സഫാരി, വയനാട്, മുസിരിസ് ഹെറിറ്റേജ് ടൂർ, കായല്‍ യാത്ര, മൂന്നാർ ഹിൽ യാത്ര, രാമേശ്വരം ധനുഷ്കോടി യാത്ര, പഴനിയാത്ര, കടൽയാത്ര, മൂകാംബിക–മുരുഡേശ്വർ–ഉഡുപ്പി, ആലപ്പുഴ സഞ്ചാരം എന്നിവയാണു പ്രധാന പാക്കേജുകൾ. മസിനഗുഡി– ഊട്ടി നാടുകാണി ചുരത്തിലൂടെയാണ് യാത്ര. നിലമ്പൂർ തേക്ക് മ്യൂസിയം, മുതുമല ടൈഗർ റിസർവ്, ഊട്ടിയിലെ നീഡിൽ റോക്ക്, ഷൂട്ടിങ് പോയിന്‍റ്, ബോട്ടിങ്, ബോട്ടാണിക്കൽ ഗാർഡൻ എന്നിവ സന്ദർശിക്കും. ഭക്ഷണം, താമസം, യാത്ര, പ്രവേശന ഫീസ് എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഒരാൾക്കു 4,335 രൂപയാണു ചാർജ്. വയനാട് വയനാട് സഫാരിയിൽ താമരശ്ശേരി ചുരം, പൂക്കോട് തടാകം, എടയ്ക്കൽ ഗുഹ, വയനാട് മ്യൂസിയം, തോൽപ്പെട്ടി ജീപ്പ് സഫാരി, തിരുനെല്ലി ക്ഷേത്രം, കുറുവാ ദ്വീപ്, ബാണാസുരസാഗർ ഡാം എന്നിവയാണ് ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്. താമസം, ഭക്ഷണം, എന്നിവയുൾപ്പെടെ 3250 രൂപയാണു ചാർജ്. ... Kerala saw 10.94% growth in tourist footfalls in 2017
Kerala recorded the highest number of tourism arrivals in the past nine-year period, with a 10.94 per cent rise compared with the figures of last year. An increase of 15.54 lakh new tourists – domestic and foreign travellers combined – was recorded this year, with footfalls going up to 1,57,65,390 in 2017, as against 1,42,10,954 in 2016. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഒമ്പത് ജില്ലകളെ വര്‍ച്ചാ ബാധിതമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ആലപ്പുഴ, കണ്ണൂര്‍, ഇടുക്കി, കാസര്‍ഗോഡ്, കോഴിക്കോട്, മലപ്പുറം, പാലക്കാട്, തൃശ്ശൂര്‍, വയനാട് ജില്ലകളെയാണ് വരള്‍ച്ചാബാധിത പ്രദേശങ്ങളായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കാന്‍ സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്തനിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റി തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. മഴയുടെ കുറവ്, ഉപരിതല ജലത്തിന്റെയും ഭൂജലത്തിന്റെയും ലഭ്യതക്കുറവ്, ഉപ്പുവെള്ളത്തിന്റെ കടന്നുകയറ്റം മുതലായ സൂചികകള്‍ കണക്കിലെടുത്താണ് ഒമ്പത് ജില്ലകളെ വരള്‍ച്ചാബാധിതമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച് ഔദ്യോഗിക പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിന് സംസ്ഥാന റിലീഫ് കമീഷണര്‍ക്ക് അതോറിറ്റി നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി.ചെയര്‍മാന്‍കൂടിയായ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷയില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന അതോറിറ്റി യോഗത്തില്‍ റവന്യൂ മന്ത്രി ഇ. ചന്ദ്രശേഖരന്‍, കൃഷിമന്ത്രി വി.എസ്. സുനില്‍കുമാര്‍, ചീഫ് സെക്രട്ടറി പോള്‍ ആന്റണി, റവന്യൂ അഡീഷണല്‍ ചീഫ് സെക്രട്ടറി പി.എച്ച്. കുര്യന്‍, അതോറിറ്റി മെമ്പര്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി ശേഖര്‍ കുര്യാക്കോസ് എന്നിവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥവകുപ്പിന്റെ കണക്കുകള്‍ പ്രകാരം2017ലെ വടക്ക് കിഴക്കന്‍ കാലവര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ ജില്ലകളില്‍ മഴയുടെ അളവില്‍ കാര്യമായ കുറവ് വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ ജില്ലകളില്‍ കടുത്ത കുടിവെള്ള ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ... RT Mission to work on lake pollution by houseboats: Kadakampally
Vembanad lake in Alappuzha, famed for its ornately carved traditional houseboats, is the centerpiece of Kerala’s tourist trade. Pollution is turning the largest wetland ecosystem in south India, Vembanad lake in Alappuzha into a weed-clogged swamp, hampering the recovery of tourism in the region. Cleaning up the lake is vital to tourism and referring to this the Kerala state Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran said the Responsible Tourism Mission will lead the cleaning up activities of the lake. “The RT Mission will initiate various measures, including a ban on plastic in houseboats, their classifications and various other cleaning activities to rectify the situation,” ...
