Air New Zealand has partnered with Tourism New Zealand on a campaign launched this year to get Kiwis holidaying around the country while foreign tourists aren’t allowed. The winter phase of the ‘Do something new, New Zealand’ campaign launched on Monday and hopes to boost the number of people hitting the slopes at Aotearoa’s ski fields. Holiday destinations Taupo, Christchurch and Queenstown will be promoted through social media, digital display advertising and online during the campaign. Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand has decided to boost the Singapore-Auckland services by flying three daily flights. “Together we bring you more of New Zealand” stated Singapore Airlaine in an announcement in their official website. From 28 October 2018, Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand will jointly launch a third daily flight between Singapore and Auckland. The additional service will shorten connection times and improve connectivity through the Singapore hub. Total visitor arrivals from India to New Zealand have doubled (from 33,000 to 66,000) in the past four years. Keeping this in mind, Tourism New Zealand is expanding its annual travel trade event, Kiwi Link India this year to three Indian cities. According to the new format, the organisation and partners host key buyers from around India in Mumbai from 9th – 10th July, followed by frontline training in Bangalore and New Delhi on 12th – 13th July respectively. Air New Zealand announced it will begin new nonstop service between Auckland and Chicago, beginning Nov. 30, 2018. The new service announcement deepens the joint venture relationship between Air New Zealand and United Airlines.
