Accor has recently introduced the concept of ‘Day Stays by Accor’ at its 51 hotels across India. According to an internal research, 45 per cent of their guests checked-in to hotels, pay for a night but stay for couple of hours in the day and use the rooms to rest, freshen up or a take power nap. Accor is all set to introduce its day use service in India where the guests can stay for 12 hours anytime in the day and will pay 60 per cent less of the actual room price. “Today, if you want to use a hotel room from 8 am to 8 pm, its very difficult to book.
