യോഗ എന്നാല്‍ എന്ത്? എന്താണ് യോഗയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനം. യോഗാ അംബാസഡര്‍ ടൂറിന്റെ ആദ്യ ദിനം യോഗാ വിദഗ്ധര്‍ കോവളം റാവിസില്‍ പ്രതിനിധികളോട് വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ഡോ. ബി ആര്‍ ശര്‍മ്മ  (കൈവല്യധാമ ഗവേഷണ വിഭാഗം )  അസുഖം വരുമ്പോള്‍  ആദ്യം നാം ആശുപത്രികളിലേക്കാണ് പോകുന്നത് അവിടെ രോഗത്തിനുള്ള കൃത്യമായ മരുന്നുകള്‍ ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍  തരും. എന്നാല്‍ രോഗം  പൂര്‍ണമായി നശിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നത് അവിടെ നടക്കുന്നില്ല. ധ്യാനത്തിലൂടെയും വിവിധ ആസനങ്ങള്‍ പരിശീലിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെയും നാം  കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത് നമ്മെത്തന്നെ. ഗീതയില്‍ അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട് ‘താമരപ്പൂവിനെപോലെയാവണം നാം ജീവിക്കേണ്ടത്’. കാരണം താമര വളരുന്നത് ചെളി നിറഞ്ഞ വെള്ളത്തിന് മുകളിലാണ് എന്നാല്‍ പൂവിനേയോ ഇലകളെയോ ഒരിക്കലും ആ ചെളി മൂടുകയില്ല. അങ്ങനെയാവണം നാം ഓരോരുത്തവരും ജീവിക്കേണ്ടത്. എല്ലാവരിലേക്കും വെളിച്ചം പകരണം നാം നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ഇടമല്ല നാം പകര്‍ന്ന് നല്‍കുന്ന ഊര്‍ജ്ജത്തിനാണ് പ്രധാനം. ഓരോ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിയും ചെയ്യും മുമ്പ്  ധ്യാനത്തിലേര്‍പ്പെടുന്ന പോലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കൂ ഡോ. യോഗി ശിവ: യോഗയ്ക്കാപ്പം ആയോധനകലയും നൃത്തവും നിഷ്ഠയായി ... The first ever yoga tour in the world will commence from tomorrow, 14th June 2018. Yoga masters as ambassoders of their respective countries have started to arrive for the Yoga Ambassadors Tour 2018. Yoga Ambassadors Tour would enhance the growth of tourism in Kerala, said Tourism Minister Kadakampalli Surender in the Kerala Legislative Assembly today.  While answering the queries of MLAs – Prathibha Hari, A N Shamsheer, C K Hareendran, and U R Pradeep- the minister stated that the Tourism ministry has taken all the necessary steps to facilitate the Yoga Ambassador Tour Programme, which is to be conducted on June 14 2018. Yoga Ambassador’s Tour is all set to begin on June 14th with an aim to propagate Kerala as a global destination. Around 60-plus Yoga professionals from across the world will be a part of the tour. Global timeshare firm RCI has recently published a report which studied holiday and vacation patterns of 50,000 RCI members in India, and found that there was a 13 per cent growth in the number of Indians taking vacations abroad in 2017-18. The report,  found that the US was the most preferred destination in 2017-18 while for those headed for Europe, Switzerland and Spain were the top choices. The long-awaited ‘neelakurinji’ season is all set to begin from August to November.  Munnar town and nearby areas are preparing to receive the tens of thousands of visitors who would be flocking the hills of Munnar to experience the ‘neelakurinji’ season. As per the official data, around eight lakh visitors are expected in Munnar during the ‘neelakurinji’ season.
