Okinawa Scooters, the Gurugram based electric scooter manufacturing company, has launched the new Okinawa Praise. Unbelievably the scooter can cover a distance of about 150-200km on a single charge. The scooter has a top speed of about 75 kmph, with aggressive futuristic designs. Kuwait Airways suspends flights to Beirut
Kuwait Airways has announced that it has suspended flights to Beirut because of security concerns. According to the airline, the decision was made following “serious warnings” from authorities in Cyprus. Earlier, Lebanon’s national airline, Middle East airline, said it was rerouting some flights because of the “recent security situation” between the United States and Syria. On Wednesday, European aviation authorities issued a warning to airlines that operate in the Eastern Mediterranean and Nicosia flight information region (FIR) area, which covers an area stretching from Turkey’s southern coast to areas near the shores of Egypt, Israel, Lebanon and Syria. Abu Dhabi successfully completes tourism roadshow to China
The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism – (DCT Abu Dhabi) said it has successfully concluded a roadshow taking in three major cities in China. The roadshow, which took in Beijing, Nanjing and Guangzhou, aims to help raise awareness about the emirate as a holiday destination for Chinese travellers. Statistics show that in the first two months of 2018, 86,400 Chinese visited the Emirate, with February alone accounting for a 83.6 per cent increase. The Department is targeting 600,000 Chinese hotel guests a year by 2021. With an aim to attract more tourists from Buddhist countries like that of Japan, the Indian Tourism Ministry is planning to promote Buddhist tourism. Uber looking to be a one-stop transportation shopping app
Uber, the American based cab service technologies, is about to shift on another level by integrating multiple transportation services in under one umbrella. According to media reports, the company is about to include train ticket service and shopping app along with the cab service portal. Direct flight between Kota and Delhi starts
Maiden direct commercial flights from Kota-Delhi commenced from Kota airport. In August, Kota was connected with Jaipur, and now the flight will connect Kota with Delhi as well. The flight will depart from Jaipur at 6 am and will reach Kota at 6:45 am. From Kota it will depart for Delhi at 7 am and will reach Delhi at 8:30 am. Rain havoc: 12 dead in Rajasthan
At least 12 people died in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur and Dholpur districts after heavy rain lashed the areas. Five children were among those who died in Dholpur, as per the reports. The administration said the toll may go up. Most of these deaths were reportedly happened due to collapse of houses in the storm. At most of the places victims were sleeping, said an official from the district administration. The heavy rainfall snapped power lines in many areas, leading to outages or fire due to short circuit. South Korea offers multiple-entry visa to Indonesians
From now on Indonesians can afford multiple entries to South Korea within five years, with each visit allowed to last up to 30 days. The new visa policy is expected to increase the number of Indonesian visitors to South Korea.
