Durban to host new Cruise Terminal for boosting tourism

Durban, the largest city in the South African district of KwaZulu-Natal is all about to invest over 200 million dollars for constructing a new Cruise Terminal. The project is an association between Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) and the KwaZulu Cruise Terminal (KCT), with various other investors to open the mega project by October 2020. Rajasthan Department of Tourism, in association with Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), is planning to organize ‘Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart’ 2018. The three-day event is scheduled to be held at the B.M. Birla Auditorium in Jaipur on July 20 and 22. Space X to replace long-haul flights with rockets

The long-haul flights have been a headache for travellers, as it is tiring and time-consuming for international business travellers. Space X, the American aerospace manufacturer, owned and operated by Elon Musk has found a solution. The company would introduce rocket technology in long-haul flights within the next 10 years. Special pilgrimage train for senior citizens

A special pilgrimage train for senior citizens, under the Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana, has been flagged off from Sambalpur station by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The train will take senior citizens to Shirdi, Nasik and Trimbakeshwar during the seven-day tour. As many as 998 senior citizens from 10 districts of the western region of the state boarded the train after the flag off , which was performed through video conferencing. IRCTC modifies rules for online ticket reservations

More than 13 lakh online tickets are booked through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) portal – www.irctc.co.in – the e-ticketing outlet of the national carrier. About 2 crore people travel by Indian Railways every day. The national carrier is always upgrading the system so as to ease the booking processes and provide better services. Speed limit reversed on Indian roads

Now you can cruise through selected Indian roads, as the government had increased the speed limit to over 120kmph for four-wheelers on expressways. Additionally, the speed limit for taxis and cabs has also been increased from 80kmph to 100kmph.
