Madhya Pradesh’s tin-toy advertisement with the tag line ‘MP me Dil Hua Bachhe Sa’ is getting more recognition in foreign countries. The advertisement was bagged the best advertisement award in 2016.  It also received the Graphite Pencil Award from the famous D & AD of England for the innovative concept in advertisement. New road between Sikkim and Nepal to promote tourism and trade

The road coming up is at an altitude of about 10,500 feet from sea level. This will be the first road link between Sikkim and Nepal which share almost 100 Km long common border. Nepal already has a road connecting Chiwa Bhanjyang, which is an antiquated village and a popular tourist place. Jet Airways clarifies the recent news regarding financial issues in the airline company. Hike in tourism occupancy of Maldives in first quarter

The tourism occupancy rate in Maldives reached 75 per cent in the first three months of 2018, which is 5 per cent more than that of the same period last year. It was reported by the Maldives Monetary Authority. The information was from the quarterly business survey of the Maldives Central Bank. As per the report, tourism industry’s occupancy rate hiked to 75 per cent in the first quarter of 2018 from 70 per cent of last year over the increased average guest night stay. Jet Airways faces acute financial stringency

Jet Airways Ltd has told its pilots that the airline may be grounded in 60 days unless cost-cutting measures including pay cuts are put in place, as reported by Reuters on Friday, 3rd July 2018. Tamil Nadu tourists can soon fly on helicopters

Tourists in Tamil Nadu will soon be able to travel across their destinations on air. A feasibility report on heli-tourism has been submitted to the state government, as informed by KJ Alphons, Minister of Tourism, in the Lok Sabha. “The study was done for the introduction of helicopter services to provide heli- tourism in Tamil Nadu state including Madurai and the preliminary report in this regard has been submitted to the state government,” said the minister.
