DTPC organizes boat rally in Alappuzha on 2nd November 2018

  In order to convey the message that Alappuzha is ready to receive tourists to its backwaters, the Alappzuha District Tourism Promotion Council is organizing a campaign with the tag line ‘Back to Backwaters’. The authorities are planning to have boat rally from the finishing point of the Nehru trophy boat race. The date of the rally is 2nd November 2018. Earlier the event was scheduled on 5th October, but postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions. Hyundai Nexo scores maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating

Photo Courtesy: Autocar The Hyundai Nexo has scored a maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating to become the first hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) to achieve this safety standard. The large SUV achieved the result in the latest round of testing conducted by Euro NCAP, with a 94 per cent rating for adult occupant safety. Buddhist monks organizes eco-padyatra in Odisha

New Delhi-based Drukpa Charitable Trust has organized a 140 Km long ‘Eco Padyatra’ with an aim to promote Buddhist tourism and create awareness to protect environment. Salalah receives record number of tourists during summer

Salalah, the gateway to Oman’s most southerly governate of Dhofar, has been one of the sought after tourist places in the Middle East during the soaring summer season from 21st June to 21st September 2018. As per the statistics revealed by The National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI), 826,376 tourists visited Salalah during this period, citing a record hike of around 28 per cent against the same period in 2017. India’s first railway station inside tunnel to come up in Himachal

For the first time in India, a railway station will be built inside a tunnel at a height of 3,000 metres, on the strategic Bilaspur-Manali-Leh line close to the Sino-India border.
