Budget carrier GoAir has launched direct flight operations to Abu Dhabi from Kannur International Airport today. It has already commenced direct flight operations to Muscat from Kannur yesterday. A number of Emirates flights to/from Pakistan and Afghanistan on 27 and 28 February have been cancelled due to the closure of Pakistani and Afghanistan air space. “We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers. Air Canada has suspended flights to Mumbai and New Delhi after two Indian fighter jets were shot down by Pakistani military in an escalating crisis between India and Pakistan. As per media reports, the airline diverted a flight en route to New Delhi over the Atlantic Ocean and landed back in Toronto. A second flight from Vancouver to New Delhi was also cancelled.
