SpiceJet to launch daily non-stop flight between Jeddah and Mumbai from July 5

SpiceJet has introduced a daily non-stop flight on Mumbai-Jeddah-Mumbai sector from July 5. Mumbai is the third destination after Hyderabad and Kozhikode which is being connected by SpiceJet with the pilgrim city of Jeddah. SpiceJet’s flight SG 68 will depart from Mumbai at 7.30 pm and arrive in Jeddah at 10.15 pm on the same day. The return flight SG 69 will depart at 11.30 pm and reach Mumbai at 6.20 am on the following day. Seychelles strengthens trade relations in Pune, Bangalore & Chandigarh through workshops

Seychelles Tourism Board has successfully conducted workshops in Pune on 21st February, in Bangalore on 19th March and in Chandigarh on 9th May to train potential travel trade partners and equip them with detailed information about various offerings in Seychelles. The workshops enabled Seychelles Tourism Board to meet many potential travel agents in the three cities and lay the groundwork for future sales visits with potential operators. Emirates signs MoUs with three teams from Dubai Future Accelerators programme

Emirates has demonstrated its commitment to fostering innovation in the global aviation industry by signing MoUs with three teams from the sixth cohort of the Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA) programme. The companies, hailing from the USA, Germany and the UK, were selected from the pool of seven participant teams that worked with Emirates through DFA for nine weeks between March and May 2019. Foreign Exchange Earnings from tourism in India to increase by 6.8% in 2019

The Foreign Exchange Earnings (FEE) from tourism stood at USD 28.9 billion (Rs 1.97 trillion) in 2018, which accounted for 5.4 per cent of the total exports, according to a latest FICCI-Yes Bank report. The contribution is further expected to increase by 6.8 per cent in 2019 and rise by 5.6 per cent p a by 2029 to reach Rs 3.63 trillion. However, India ranks 14th in terms of absolute FEE and 122nd in terms of share of visitor exports in total export. Scoot starts non-stop daily to Thiruvananthapuram from Singapore

Budget-carrier of Singapore Airlines, Scoot has launched its daily non-stop flight from Singapore to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The airline also announced to cease its operations from Lucknow by June-end owing to weak demand on the route. The inaugural flight took off from Singapore on Tuesday with a 180-seater Airbus A320 aircraft at around 8:40 pm local time and reached the Thiruvananthapuram airport at around 10 pm local time, said the airline in a statement.
