Air India to launch Red Eye flight to Delhi from Bengaluru

Air India is planning to start Red Eye flights to Delhi from Bengaluru. The first Red Eye flight will make its debut at 11 pm on June 5 from Bengaluru airport and reach Delhi at 1.30 am on June 6. The cost of a ticket on a Red Eye flight is much cheaper than day flights, which makes it attractive for a flyer. Virgin Atlantic to resume London-Mumbai route from October 27

Virgin Atlantic is relaunching flights between London Heathrow and Mumbai, India, with flights on sale from May 28, 2019. The first service is set to commence on October 27, 2019 and will complement the airline’s long-established route between London and Delhi. Korean Air to discontinue first-class on India routes

Korean Air has announced that starting June 1, the airline will cease to operate First Class Cabin on Airbus A330-200 which operates on Delhi (KE 482/KE 481) and Mumbai (KE 656/KE 655) routes. The airline has a total of six first-class cabins, which will be discontinued starting next month. As per the revised configuration, the airline will only have two-class configuration on both the Delhi and Mumbai routes. AirAsia India to fly international by October

AirAsia India is planning to start international operations by October this year, said Sanjay Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of the airline. “Our plan is to first fly to the Southeast Asian market and start with flights to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Our target is that we will fly about 7-8 per cent of our total available seat kilometres to international locations in the first year of operations,” he said. Amazon launches domestic flight booking service in India

Now, you can easily book your domestic flights in addition to shopping, money transfers, utility bill payments, mobile recharges — all through one single app, the e-commerce giant Amazon said. Amazon has partnered with online travel and leisure activities platform Cleartrip to launch the service. “We are excited to partner with Cleartrip and share their passion of creating best in class travel experiences,” said Shariq Plasticwala, Director, Amazon Pay, in a statement.
