India’s first canopy walk is all set to open for tourists by mid-November. Though it was inaugurated in February, entry of tourists was barred because of monsoon. The 240 meter canopy walkway 30 meters above ground level in the dense forests of Western Ghats was constructed by the The Forest and Tourism departments jointly at a cost of Rs 84 lakh. Emirates is firing up its ovens for Thanksgiving celebrations on board and on the ground. The airline will offer customers special holiday menus across all classes on flights between Dubai and the US and in the respective airport lounges. Belitung in Bangka Belitung Islands province is a suitable site for nomadic tourism, Tourism Minister Arief Yahya has said. “Belitung is a suitable destination to develop nomadic tourism,” Arief said in Belitung recently, as per local media.
