Delhi metro to open Magenta Line

After the successful introduction of Pink line, there comes the good news for the natives of South Delhi, Noida and West Delhi as the new magenta lines would connect all in one stretch. A half portion of the new project is currently in service connecting Botanical Garden and Kalkaji Mandir. The other half Kalkaji – Janakpuri West is nearing completion, which would be opened to public this month, after the final inspection from the railway officials. The Philippines government led by President Rodrigo Duterte ordered, that the beach resort at Boracay will be closed for over 6 months for the tourist. AirAsia to launch flights between Phuket and Penang

AirAsia has unveiled plans to launch direct flights between Phuket and Penang on 1 July 2018. Operated exclusively by AirAsia Berhad, the direct flight marks the airline’s 10th route from the Pearl of the Orient, further strengthening AirAsia’s inter-ASEAN connectivity. Short term ban on drones in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Police issued a temporary ban on unmanned flying aircraft (drones) and other RC controlled devices from 8th April to 7th May. “No flying activities of remotely controlled drones or para-gliders or Remotely Controlled Micro-Light Aircraft will be allowed in the Jurisdiction of Hyderabad city limits without prior police permission in writing,” said Anjani Kumar, Hyderabad police chief on a statement. Jet Airways to buy 75 Boeing 737 Max jets worth up to $9.7 billion

Jet Airways India Ltd. has agreed to buy 75 Boeing Co. 737 Max aircraft, confirming an earlier planned order to help meet demand. The order is valued at $7.2 billion to $9.7 billion. Jet Airways didn’t specify the 737 Max variant for this order and has already made an order for the Max 8, the most popular of the planemaker’s revamped 737 models. Jet Airways becomes the latest carrier in India to order more planes to meet burgeoning demand, fuelled by an expanding middle class that’s finding air travel affordable.

South Korea issued Travel Alert for Ecuador

A travel alert has been issued by South Korea for its citizens regarding travelling to Ecuador, on the occasion of a severe security breach in some parts of the South American country. According to media reports, a travel advisory is imposed over cities of San Lorenzo and Eloy Alfaroin in Ecuador along with the travel alert. South Korea further declared orders for citizens living in Ecuador to avoid local trips and called back their citizens until the situation is under control. Meanwhile, in January Ecuador government has ordered emergency in its two cities, as a result of drug-associated bombing.

Spying on your spouse’s phone is no more a light matter in Saudi, rather it is now a criminal offence potentially punishable by a hefty fine – and a year in jail.
