Kovalam is being tightened by the police. Sharjah Emigration has suspended the issuance of visitor visas to those coming from India. The move comes in the wake of the UAE announcing a travel ban on Indians following the expansion of covid. Online registration for the Amarnath pilgrimage has been suspended due to escalating covid spread. This was informed by Sri Amarnath Temple Board.
