One Night One Dollar! Thailand invite tourists to Phuket
Phuket, Thailand’s most popular tourist destination and city, is set to attract a large number of tourists. Thailand, which is slowly returning to its former glory after covid, has begun preparations to receive tourists to Phuket from July 1. KTDC upgrading online booking system
Upgrading KTDC’s online booking system. The updated online booking system will be operational this month. The channel manager software system is designed to help international and domestic tourists to book KTDC hotels more quickly and efficiently. This is the first step towards making KTDC hotels part of the global tourism network. Protected monuments will be reopened from tomorrow
Monuments under the Archaeological Survey, which were closed for two months following the spread of covid second wave, are being reopened. The Archaeological Survey of India has announced that protected monuments across the country will be re-opened from June 16. The Archaeological Survey of India said there would be no direct booking to visit the monuments and that admission tickets could be purchased online. Last year, 3,691 protected areas under the Archaeological Survey of India were closed due to the covid.
3D-printed Masks Coated with Anti-Viral Agents
An integration of 3D printing and pharmaceuticals has resulted in a novel type of mask which attacks the virus when viral particles come in contact with it. Developed by Pune-based start-up firm Thincr Technologies India Private Limited, these masks are coated with anti-viral agents known otherwise as virucides. New tourism projects in Sivalokam
The Kanyakumari district administration is planning to change the face of the Shivalokam tourist center near the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. The plans are being prepared on the instructions of Tamil Nadu Tourism Principal Secretary Chandramohan. Two days ago, the Principal Secretary visited the tourist areas in the district. Urban Tourism hub to be set up in Muvattupuzha for Domestic Tourists
The Urban Tourism Hub will be started as the headquarters of the Municipal Park for domestic tourists under the auspices of the Corporation. Plans are also afoot to turn Muvattupuzha, the district’s satellite city, into a G_water Sports Hub. A major project will be implemented, including the construction of a floating bridge across the Thodupuzha River to connect it to the park.
