Music events postponed in Bengaluru

Travelers who were all set to reach Bengaluru to attend some key music events may be disappointed. The corona virus outbreak has pushed American pop artist Khalid’s Asia tour to a later date. The event was supposed to take place this month. The Bangalore Open Air, a rock and heavy metal music festival, that was to be held on March 21 has been shelved. Other city-based bands have also cancelled gigs. An Austrian pop singers’ concert to be held on the weekend at Windmills Craftworks will not take place. Annual Visakha Utsav to be held from December 26 to 28

Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao has announced the tentative dates for conducting the annual Visakha Utsav. The festival will most likely to be held from December 26 to 28. Final dates will be announced in a few days. This year, the utsav will focus on harnessing local talent and involving local people, and a budget of around Rs 1 crore will be sanctioned for the same. Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) participated in the Global Panorama Showcase 2019 (GPS), a premier business networking event in order to reach out to tour operators beyond metro cities of India.
