Delta tightens rules for service & support animals
Delta Air Lines said it is tightening its rules for transporting service and support animals in an effort to reduce misbehaviour by dogs and other creatures that air carriers are required by law to allow on board. Service dogs are specially trained to aid people with disabilities. Delta carries nearly 250,000 service and support animals a year. From March 2018 onward, Delta would require documentation about such animals including its health, in some instances, a promise of good conduct. Jambojet launches Wajir flights
Jambojet is all set to start flights into Wajir, the capital and largest town in Wajir County. The maiden flight on the new route will take off from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on 14, February using one of their Bombardier Q400NextGen aircraft. Now into its fourth year of operations, the airline is targeting growing domestic travel market comprising of traders, investors, government workers and employees of local and international aid agencies to consolidate its position in Kenya’s foremost low cost airline market. Vistara offers direct flight from Delhi to Chennai on Feb 15
Tata SIA Airline Limited, popularly known as Vistara, has declared the extension of Chennai to its bolster chain, composing it as the 22nd station for the airlines chain. From February 15, 2018, Vistara will have regular flight between Delhi and Chennai and boost the frequency to twice a day from March 1, 2018. Vistara will also offer daily direct flights from Chennai to Port Blair from March 1, 2018 onwards. Early bookings are now available across all channels. One-way fares for Delhi-Chennai (economy) class starts at Rs. 3, 099 (all inclusive) and Rs. 3, 699 (all inclusive) for Chennai-Port Blair.
