IndiGo has put up 10 lakh seats up for grabs as part of its winter sale offer, and flight tickets start from Rs 899 on IndiGo’s domestic route are in the latest sale. From December 1 onwards passengers flying out of Delhi airport will have to pay more by paying some Rs 77 per ticket, with regulator AERA approving revision in service charges. Currently Rs 10 is levied on domestic tickets and Rs 45 on international tickets by the airport operator DIAL as passenger service fee. There are also revisions to certain aeronautical charges, according to an order issued by the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA). The revised charges would be applicable from December 1. IndiGo has launched non-stop flights between Allahabad and Bengaluru at a starting all-inclusive price of Rs 2,500. The flight started from Bengaluru on Thursday at 1:30 pm and reached Allahabad at 4:10 pm. The whole process of baggage check-in will take only 45 seconds from now on as the airport has deployed fully-automated self bag drop machines at the airport. The self bag drop machines will accelerate the baggage transaction and reduce check-in queues.
