  കുവൈറ്റിലെ പ്രമുഖ വിമാന സര്‍വീസായ ജസീറ എയര്‍വെയ്‌സ് കൊച്ചിയിലേക്ക് വിമാന സര്‍വീസ് ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഇതിലൂടെ കേരള ടൂറിസവുമായി കുവൈറ്റ് അടുത്തബന്ധം സ്ഥാപിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യതാണ് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. പുതിയ വിമാന സര്‍വീസ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ കേരളത്തിന്റെയും കുവൈറ്റിന്റെയും ടൂറിസം, മെഡിക്കല്‍ ടൂറിസം രംഗത്ത് നിരവധി മികച്ച അവസരങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്നും, വാരാന്ത്യത്തില്‍ മെഡിക്കല്‍ ട്രീറ്റുമെന്റുകള്‍ക്കായി ധാരാളം ആളുകളാണ് കുവൈറ്റില്‍ നിന്ന് കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് വരുന്നത്. അവര്‍ക്ക ഈ വിമാനസര്‍വീസ് വളരെ ഗുണം ചെയ്യുമെന്നും ജസീറ എയര്‍വെയ്‌സിന്റെ വിപി മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിങ്ങ് ആന്റ് കസ്റ്റമര്‍ ഓഫീസര്‍ ആന്‍ഡ്രൂ വാര്‍ഡ് പറഞ്ഞു. ജസീറയുടെ ഹൈദ്രബാദ്, അഹമദാബാദ് സര്‍വീസിന് ശേഷം മൂന്നാമത്തെ സര്‍വീസാണ് കൊച്ചിയിലേത്. തിങ്കള്‍, ചൊവ്വ,വ്യാഴം,ഞായര്‍ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ആഴ്ച്ചയില്‍ നാല് ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ കുവൈറ്റില്‍ നിന്ന് കൊച്ചിയിലേക്ക് എത്തും. രാത്രിയില്‍ 8.55ന് കൊച്ചിയില്‍ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുന്ന വിമാനം പുലര്‍ച്ചെ 12.10ന് കുവൈറ്റില്‍ എത്തും. തിരിച്ച് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 12.45ന് പുറപ്പെടുന്ന വിമാനം രാത്രി 8.10ന് കൊച്ചിയിലെത്തും.

ദുബൈയ്: വിനോദസഞ്ചാരത്തിനെത്തിയ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ യുവാവ് ദുബൈയില്‍ വാഹനാപകടത്തില്‍ മരിച്ചു. കര്‍ണാടകയിലെ ബെല്ലാരിയില്‍ സ്ഥിരതാമസമാക്കിയ രാജസ്ഥാന്‍ സ്വദേശി ദിനേഷ് കവാദ്(39)ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യ നീതു ജെയിനിയെ പരിക്കുകളോടെ റാഷിദ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. ദമ്പതികള്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ച മിനി ബസ്സില്‍ ട്രെക്ക് ഇടിച്ചായിരുന്നു അപകടം. വാഹനത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മറ്റു രണ്ട് ദമ്പതിമാര്‍ പരിക്കേല്‍ക്കാതെ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. വാഹനമോടിച്ചിരുന്നയാള്‍ സംഭവ സ്ഥലത്ത് തന്നെ മരിച്ചു. ഡെസേര്‍ട്ട് സഫാരിക്കു വേണ്ടി ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് ഏജന്‍സിയുടെ ബസ്സില്‍ യാത്രചെയ്യുമ്പോഴാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. ദിനേഷ് കവാദ്  കര്‍ണാടകയില്‍ ബിസിനസുകാരനാണ്.

കര്‍ഷക സംഘടനകള്‍ മഹാദയി നദി തര്‍ക്കവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്ത ബന്ദില്‍ വലഞ്ഞ് കര്‍ണാടക. തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി അവധി ദിനം വരുന്നതിനാല്‍ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങാനിരുന്ന മലയാളികളെ ബന്ദ് സാരമായി ബാധിച്ചു. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍, സ്വകാര്യ ബസ്സുകള്‍ സര്‍വീസുകള്‍ നടത്താത്തതിനാല്‍ കേരളത്തിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്ര മുടങ്ങി. മെട്രോ സര്‍വീസുകളെ ബന്ദ് ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. സ്വകാര്യ ബസുകള്‍ നിരത്തിലിറങ്ങാഞ്ഞതിനാല്‍ വിപ്രോ, ഇന്‍ഫോസിസ് തുടങ്ങിയ ടെക്ക് കമ്പിനികളിലെ ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്ക് അവധി നല്‍കി. വടക്കന്‍ ജില്ലകളായ ഗുല്‍ബര്‍ഗയിലെ സ്‌കൂളുകളെ ബന്ദ് ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല, എന്നാല്‍ തെക്കന്‍ ജില്ലകളായ മാണ്ഡ്യയിലെയും ബെംഗളുരുവിലെയും സ്‌കൂളുകള്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും അടച്ചു. ബിജെപി ദേശീയ അധ്യഷന്‍ അമിത് ഷാ ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് മൈസൂരുവില്‍ പരിവര്‍ത്തന യാത്രയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു സംസാരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സമ്മേളനത്തെയും ബന്ദ് ബാധിക്കുമെന്നാണ് വിവരം. നിയമസഭ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് സംസ്ഥാനം സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതിനായി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഫെബ്രവരി നാലിന് ബെംഗളൂരുവില്‍ എത്തും. അന്നും കര്‍ഷക സംഘടനകള്‍ ബന്ദിന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
