Built on a hilltop in the year 1143 Golconda Fort, located in the western part of Hyderabad city, is celebrating 500 glorious years. The history of Golconda Fort, undoubtedly one of most magnificent fortress complexes in India, goes back to early 13th century, when it was ruled by the Kakatiya’s followed by Qutub Shahi kings, who ruled the region in 16th and 17th century. In a shocking incident, a US-Bangla Airlines drift off from the runway leading to a crash at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. According to reports, about 67 people were on board the flight, rescuing 7 people, while the injured 13 people were taken to the nearby hospital. “We are trying to bring the fire under control. ബംഗ്ലാദേശിൽ നിന്ന്​  67 യാത്രക്കാരും 4 ജീവനക്കാരുമായി വന്ന യുഎസ്- ബംഗ്ലാ വിമാനം നേപ്പാള്‍ കാഠ്​മണ്ഡുവിലെ ത്രിഭുവൻ അന്താരാഷ്​ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ തകർന്നു. ധാക്കയിൽ നിന്ന്​ കാഠ്​മണ്ഡുവിലേക്ക്​ പോയ വിമാനമാണ്​ തകർന്നത്. 50 യാത്രക്കാര്‍ മരിച്ചു. റൺവേയിൽ നിന്നും തെന്നിമാറി​ വിമാനം ലാൻറ്​ ചെയ്​തതിനെ തുടർന്ന്​ തീപിടിച്ച് തകരുകയായിരുന്നു.  തൊട്ടടുത്ത ഫുട്​ബോൾ മൈതാനത്താണ് വിമാനം നിന്നത്​. യാത്രക്കാരെ സുരക്ഷതമായി പുറത്തിറക്കാനും തീയണക്കാനും ശ്രമം തുടരുകയാണ്​. നിലവിൽ 17 യാത്രക്കാരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. ഉച്ചക്ക്​ ശേഷം രണ്ടരക്ക് ത്രിഭുവൻ അന്താരാഷ്​ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ​ ലാൻഡ്​ ചെയ്യേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന വിമാനമാണ് തകര്‍ന്നത്.

In view of the tragic death of several trekkers during the forest fire in the Kolukkumalai hills of Theni district in Tamil Nadu, the Chief Secretary and the Chairman of State Disaster Management Authority has issued directions to stop trekking to hills and also to ensure that all fire lines are cleared. The State Disaster Management Authority of Kerala has directed the government to enforce a fishing ban after the India Meteorology Department warned of rain, squally winds and rough sea conditions and extended its advisory for fishermen. The Chief Minister’s office has directed District Collectors to disseminate the weather warning to fishermen. The Departments of Revenue and Fisheries and the Coastal police have also been advised to remain vigilant.
