IndiGo has cancelled as many as 47 flights today after aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) grounded eight A320Neo planes of IndiGo with faulty Pratt & Whitney engines, along with three such aircraft of GoAir. IndiGo has cancelled 47 flights across its domestic network, the airline announced on its website. The flights that have been cancelled are from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Patna, Srinagar, Bhubaneswar, Amritsar, Srinagar and Guwahati, among others. In a shocking incident after the US-Bangla flight crash at Nepal, an Indigo Airbus A-320 initiated emergency landing at Ahmedabad airport, after finding an engine failure shortly after taking off. Russia, as part of strengthening their military power, had successfully tested the hypersonic missile that travels 10 times the speed of sound. The missile named ‘Kinzhal’ was deployed from a MiG-31 fighter jet that can hit the target more precisely. “The launch was normal; the hypersonic missile hit the preset target on the test site,” said the defence ministry. The missile got the name Kinzhal for its double-edged dragger design. The Andhra Pradesh government is planning to organize adventure sports like trekking in the Kondapalli forest area. The flow of winter travellers to Abu Dhabi marked the highest hotel occupancy rate in February. According to reports, over 100 hotels in the capital city marked full during February.
