UK Government’s move to bring down quarantine to 5 Days hailed by Trade

The UK government’s latest move that will slash the travel quarantine lockdown if passengers test negative on the fifth day will provide a much-needed economic boost and is a step towards reviving international travel, says the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Maharashtra makes Covid negative for visitors coming from Delhi, Gujarat, Rajastan and Goa

In an act of precaution, the Maharashtra state government has decided to make Covid-Negative Certificate (RT- PCR test) mandatory for visitors to Maharashtra from the states of Delhi- NCR, Rajasthan, Goa, and Gujarat since a spike has been observed in the covid 19 cases at these states. Maharashtra, once badly hit by Covid, is now on a path of recovery and these guidelines are meant to keep a check and to avoid a relapse. China claims spot as No: 1 international tourism source market

Despite the pandemic, recent research says that China will still be the number one source market for international tourism. According to quantitative research of China Outbound Tourism Research Institute, China will reclaim its top position in 2020 with 18 million Chinese international trips, most of which however happened in January, representing about 10% of the number for 2019. Vistara to fly Delhi to Doha twice a week

Delhi, 04 November 2020: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines, today announced special, non-stop flights between Delhi and Doha, the capital city of the state of Qatar, from 19 November 2020.
