Elevated walkway across Malabar Hill in Mumbai to attract tourists
The Elevated walkway is being constructed at Malabar Hill under the leadership of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Tourists can walk across the bridge and enjoy the unobstructed view of the sea. This will be the tree-top elevated walkway.
According to reports, the government will build a 900-meter-long and 1.5-meter-wide elevated walkway. The walkway will be completed by the end of 2021. Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray said the walkway would be constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore.
Construction of the Elevated walkway will begin in October. The walkway will be completed in a manner similar to the Tree Top Walk on the MacRitchie Reservoir in Singapore.
