The Jog Falls is ready to receive tourists

Karnataka government is all set to launch a new project in connection with the famous Jog Falls. Boating and an amphitheater are planned.

The government initially aims to launch a ropeway to the Padmavathi Temple, 400 meters from the Jog Falls. Attempts are also being made to provide boating facilities under the falls. Karnataka Power Corporation Limited is responsible for the construction of the project. The government aims to make Jog a world-class tourist destination.

In addition to the Amphitheater, a science park, a jungle lodge, and a cafeteria are being set up. The renovation work is being carried out under the supervision of Shimoga MP Raghavendra. The government aims to complete the project by 2023.
