Haridwar Kumbh Mela: Covid Negative certificate is compulsory for those from Kerala
As there is a significant increase in the number of covid-19 positive cases, this year’s Kumbh Mela will be held with proper guidelines and security precautions. Covid negative test results have been made mandatory for people coming to Kumbh Mela from 12 states including Kerala. Covid RT-PCR should be considered as a negative test result. April 12, 14, and 27 are the important dates for this Kumbh Mela. It is reported that the inspection will be tightened as many tourists and pilgrims arrive on those days.
Authorities have also set up covid test kiosks at the state border to facilitate visitors. Those arriving in Uttarakhand from Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, and Rajasthan are required to submit the covid negative test result 72 hours before arrival.
