The celebration begins for Vietnam’s ‘Central Summer Viet-stival’
Summer just got better in Central Vietnam with a mega event organized together by Tourism Department of Thua Thien-Hue Province, Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center and Vietnam Travel Expert Fayfay.com.
Vietnam’s ‘Central Summer Viet-stival’ is a collection of exciting happenings in the area, headlined by Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, Hue Hot Air Balloon Festival and Hue Traditional Craft Festival. Starting on 22 April, ‘Central Summer Viet-stival’ aims to show the unique festive side of Da Nang and Hue in this travel season. Hue Hot Air Balloon Festival
The 3rd Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival, organized by Tourism Department of Thua Thien-Hue Province, will take place in Hue Citadel from 27 April to 29 April. The festival gathershot air balloons from Japan, Netherlands, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. This is a great chance for travelers to take in the view of the Hue City and the Citadel at the height of 150 metres. Da Nang International Fireworks Festival
Organized by Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will be held every Saturday from 1 June to 6 July. Eight world-class teams from Italy, Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Finland, China, the United Kingdom and Vietnam will come together for a pyrotechnic competition, brightening the night skies with their amazing fireworks performance under the theme “Stories by the Rivers”. Two best performing teams will be invited to compete for the crown at the closing ceremony on 6 July.

Travelers can take part in hands-on workshops led by experienced artisans and produce their own traditional handcraft items.
