IndiGo announces flights to Hong Kong from December

Budget passenger carrier IndiGo announced Hong Kong as its fifteenth international destination. The carrier will operate its daily non-stop flight between Hong Kong and Bengaluru, effective from December 11, 2018 at a starting all-inclusive fare of Rs 11,499.

Customers willing to avail the services can book flight tickets via IndiGo’s official website- goindigo.in. The new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure, who are constantly on the lookout for new and affordable flying options, the airline said in a statement.

“We are delighted to announce Hong Kong as the 15th destination in our international portfolio. One of the world’s biggest financial hubs, Hong Kong constitutes a strategic market for us. Hong Kong also caters to all kinds of travellers, be it family or a group of friends, and we see huge tourism potential in future from India,” said William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo.

Flight No 6E 1771 will start from Bengaluru at 4.45 am on Tuesdays, will reach Hong Kong by 12.45 pm while the return flight will depart from Hong Kong at 2 pm will reach Bengaluru at 6 pm.

Flight No 6E 1773 will start from Bengaluru at 11.40 pm, effective December 12, will reach Hong Kong at 7. 45 am. The flight will run on all days except Tuesdays. The return flight, which runs daily except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, will depart from Hong Kong at 8.45 am and reach Bengaluru at 12.45 pm. The flight No 6E 1774, which will fly on Tuesdays from Hong Kong at 8.45 am will reach Bengaluru at 11.50 am, starting December 18.
