Now you can travel from Mumbai to Goa in India’s first passenger cruise

How to reach Goa from Mumbai searches always used to show the scenic rail journey on the Konkan route or the long road trip and the easy and fast flight services, but, now there’s a water route open between the two destinations. India’s first ever passenger cruise ship service, Angriya, will ferry you from Mumbai to Goa for just Rs 7000/-.

The glamorous cruise between Mumbai and Goa, is sure going to attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. A one-way ticket for the cruise will approximately cost Rs 7,000 for a bed in the dorm and Rs 11,000 for a suite per person. The ticket entitles you to three meals on board: evening snacks, dinner and breakfast.

Angriya, named after Kanhoji Angre, or Conajee Angria, the first Admiral of the Maratha Navy, has eight different types of restaurants, and round-the-clock coffee shops, recreation room, lounge, and an infinity pool at the rear end of the ship.

The 20-year-old vessel built in Japan, which can accommodate around 350 plus passengers, can also arrange beautiful wedding receptions or corporate meetings. Angriya has 104 cabins across eight categories—from dorms and pods to family rooms and suites. It also features a well-equipped spa at the lowermost deck and express manicure and pedicure counters at the decks above.
