Madhya Pradesh Tourism is all set to promote its tourism products in international markets. Madhya Pradesh will highlight the spectacular offerings of this colourful and vibrant state to international travellers during two travel and tourism shows from October – December 2018.

With more than 10,000 sq km of national parks, Madhya Pradesh accounts for about 20 per cent of India’s tiger population and is known as the ‘Tiger State’ of India. MP is home to 6 tiger reserves, several natural and architectural wonders and 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the exquisite Khajuraho temple complex, Sanchi- a Buddhist pilgrimage centre and Bhimbetka – rock shelters featuring prehistoric cave paintings.

This October, Madhya Pradesh will host the 5th Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart and the tourism board will host the first AdventureNEXT event in Asia, to promote adventure activities available in the state such as trekking, mountain biking and wildlife safaris in December.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism will host the fifth Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM – http://www.madhyapradeshtravelmart.com) from 5 – 7 October 2018 in the state’s capital city of Bhopal. With a focus on increasing inbound visitor numbers to the state, international attendees at the mart will have the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with local representatives from airlines, accommodation providers and state and national tourism organisations.
