Bon Voyage takes soccer fans to Russia
While most of the football fans spend their time in front of the TV to cheer up their favourite teams, 30 football enthusiasts could witness the pre-quarter finals at the Russian stadium itself. And, it was Bon Voyage International, a Trivandrum-based tour operator, made their dreams a reality.
Bon Voyage, headed by Sujith Vaidyan, conducts tour programmes worldwide, with specialization in Sports tours, Destination Weddings etc.
“Majority of the inquiries we have received this time for the World Cup special tour package, were from the casual travellers in Kerala,” said Sujith Vaidyan .
The FIFA World Cup package was for five nights and six days, which was priced at Rs 2.3 lakhs, including visa, air-tickets, accommodation expense and tickets for two matches.
All the travellers were from Kerala, except 4 Indonesian nationals. “Majority of the participants were from Thrissur. The first batch of 18 members travelled on June 26th and the second batch of 12 persons left to Russia on 2nd July. The first batch could witness the pre-quarter final between Brazil and Mexico. The second batch could watch the Sweden v/s Switzerland match,” said Vaidyan.
Apart from watching the football matches, the participants also got an opportunity to roam around the Russian cities. “All are very much contented and gave positive feedback about the tour package,” said Sujith. The team have come back from the trip on 4th July 2018.
“Our company is the only one in Kerala, that could successfully arrange a tour package for a group of 30 people to Russia to witness the football extravaganza,” claimed Sujith Vaidyan.
