YAT2018: Ministers, delegates praise ATTOI
Guests and ministers congratulated ATTOI for conducting the Yoga Ambassadors Tour 2018 – first of this kind in the country. While talking at the inaugural event, Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State, (I/C), Ministry of AYUSH Government of India, congratulated ATTOI and stated this is an inimitable attempt from the part of the organizers and can be followed by others. ATTOI has organized this practically difficult event within record time. Ayush Minister also congratulated the Kerala Tourism Ministry for the generous support extended by them for making the event happen.
In his keynote address, Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, Government of Kerala, lauded the efforts of ATTOI to materialize the concept of Yoga Ambassadors Tour. Ranjithkumar, Joint Secretary to Ayush Ministy, Government of India also praised the attempt of ATTOI to conduct the event in a professional manner.
Kerala Tourism Secretary Rani George said that, the attempts of ATTOI to utilize social media the development of tourism was an innovative idea. Tourism Director Balakiran, and Baby Mathew, President of Kerala Travel Mart, also praised ATTOI for their tireless efforts for organizing the meet.
The delegate welcomed the words of IOTA Senior Vice President Najeeb praising ATTOI for organizing the event with a standing ovation.
The first ever yoga tour in the world has begun today. Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State, (I/C), Ministry of AYUSH Government of India, inaugurated the 9-day yoga tour. The tour is organized by Association of Tourism Trade Organization India (ATTOI), in association with Ministry of Ayush and Kerala Tourism. More than 60 yoga exponents from 22 countries are participating in the Yoga Ambassadors Tour, which will conclude on 21st June – The International Yoga Day
