BMW launches all new 2018 BMW X3
German luxury car makers BMW has officially launched the new BMW X3 exclusively in India. The new model is the third generation of the SUV model that comes in two variants, as xDrive 20d Expedition and xDrive 20d Luxury Line.
The new X3 has a different update in terms of its design. The front kidney-shaped grilles are pretty larger, followed by a newly improved headlamp. The front region is chiselled with a muscular design. The car comes with more room for the driver, as well as, for the co-passengers.
However, the new BMW X3 comes only with a diesel option powered by a 2-litre four-cylinder engine. The car can cruise from 0-100 in just 8 seconds, thanks to the 188 bhp that can produce a peak torque of 400 Nm at 1,750 rpm.
Interior is functionally designed with the new dashboard, that houses a new larger touchscreen infotainment display. This time BMW also introduced gesture controls with the new x3 in which users can control settings without touching anything. Another attractive part of the model is the ambient lighting option, that can be changed according to mood.
Additionally, the car comes with a rearview camera, smartphone holder along with a wireless charging port. Safety features of the car are top notch with six airbags, attentiveness assistance, dynamic stability control (DSC), cornering brake control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting and integrated emergency spare wheel. Pricing of the new model starts at 50 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
