Argentina to Host 2018 WTTC Summit
Buenos Aires in Argentina is all ready to host the Global Summit of World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) on 18th April 2018.
This year the theme adopted was ‘Our People, Our World, Our Future’. The forum is aimed to conduct debates and discussions in creating sustainable jobs, and in utilizing technology for optimum functioning of the industry.
The Global Summit this year is conducted by the Ministry of Tourism of Argentina and the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR).
“This year’s WTTC Global Summit will bring together CEOs, ministers and representatives of the highest level of international organizations around a very relevant program, that will highlight the enormous opportunity that travel and tourism offer our world,” said Gloria Guevara Manzo, President and CEO of WTTC.
“A country that is full of tourism potential, Argentina is the ideal place to have this focused, energetic and meaningful conversation,” he added.
Eminent speakers in the field of travel tourism and hospitality such as Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Fang Liu, Secretary General, International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General, World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), CEOs and leaders from WTTC Member companies are expected to arrive at the Summit.
