Summer special Tourist Trains from IRCTC
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), has announced the 2018 summer edition of the much awaited Bharat Dharshan Tourist train services, scheduled to start from April and May this year.
Three trains with 3 different itineraries are launched by IRCTC, that mainly focuses on pilgrims, who occasionally travel to various temples across India.
The Train schedules are divided into three parts in terms of the destinations.
- ‘Nava Jyotirlinga Yatra’ – Starts from Renigunta on 3rd April (00.05 hours) on Tuesday and will arrive at Vijayawada on 14th. The packages include Bhimashankar (near Pune), Nageshwar (near Dwaraka), Somnath, Ujjain Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Trayambakeshwar (near Nashik), Grishneshwar (near Aurangabad), Aundha Nagnath (near Nanded) and Parli Vaidyanath. Package cost includes ₹13,020 for sleeper class and ₹15,540 for AC III tier per passenger. The package also covers night stay, transport, food, tour escort and security on the train.
- ‘Ganga Yamuna Yatra’ – Journey starts from Renigunta at (00:05) hours on 18th April and will arrive at Secunderabad on 29th April. The package covers Agra, Mathura, New Delhi, Haridwar, Ayodhya, Prayag, Varanasi and Gaya. Package tariff includes ₹11,340 for sleeper class and ₹13,860 for AC III tier with night stay, food, transport, tour escort and security included.
- ‘Dakshina Bharat Yatra’ – Journey starts from Secunderabad on 4th May at (00.05 hours) Friday and will return to Vijayawada on 12th May. The package covers Tiruchirapalli, Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum, Guruvayur, Sripuram Golden Temple, Tirupati and Srikalahasti. Package tariff includes ₹8,505 for a single person and ₹10,395 for AC III tier. It also includes night stay, food, transport, tour escort and security on train.
