Kerala Blog Express flagged off
The fifth edition of the much awaited, annual two-week-long bus trip, the Kerala Blog Express, organised by state Tourism Department has been flagged off from Mascot Hotel by Minister for Tourism Kadakampally Surendran.
“The two-week journey by ‘Kerala Blog Express’ would cover all the important destinations in Kerala and would conclude the trip in Kochi on 1st April. The event is aimed to promote Kerala Tourism on a global perspective, through the views of bloggers,” said Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran.
Around 30 bloggers from 28 countries – US, Britain, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Venezuela and Peru, will be participating in this event, to explore the God’s Own Country.
“Kerala Blog Express has all unique features to strengthen social media marketing, and it would help to reap the benefits as the unique initiative, that would reach out to travellers from across the globe,” said Rani George IAS, Tourism Secretary.
“Considering other destinations around the world, Kerala’s unique picturesque view is an ideal opportunity for the photographers and bloggers, to get wide reach from the audience”, said Anish Kumar P.K, President ATTOI.
Baby Mathew, President of Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) has invited the bloggers to attend Kerala’s biggest travel event KTM 2018, which is scheduled to be conducted from 27th to 30th September in Kochi.
