Snow alert declared for Sioux Falls
The city of Sioux Falls in South Dakot is under a snow alert, which officially began at 5:30 a.m. today. as Monday’s snow storm is cleared from the roads, and vehicles that are on the road at the wrong time could be ticketed or towed.
Starting at 8 p.m. tonight, all east/west streets in Zone 2 will be plowed, and vehicles will need to remain off the roads until 5 a.m., or until the streets are clear, read the travel advisory.
Streets in Zone 3 will be plowed once emergency snow routes are cleared whereas streets in North/south Zone 2 will be plowed starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning, and vehicles will need to remain off the roads until 5 p.m, or until the streets are clear. Zone 1 streets will be cleared between 1 and 6 a.m. tomorrow.
