Asian nations hold the world’s most powerful passports
Japan and Singapore are now the world’s most powerful passports, according to the Henley Passport Index. They’ve knocked Germany off the top spot, with visa-free access to 179 destinations. India was given the 81st spot with visa-free-access to 56 countries, as per the index.
South Korea holds third place in the rankings, alongside Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Spain and Sweden. It’s passport holders have visa-free access to 178 destinations.
UK has dropped down to 4th place, but it still provides its citizens with visa-free access to 177 destinations. The US continues to hold 5th place on the index, offering its passport holders access to 176 destinations.
Malaysia makes it to the 11th place with visa free travel available to 169 destinations.
