Harley to launch Electric Bikes

American motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson and China have collaborated together for the launch of their latest electric version of Harley by 2019.

In 2014,  a concept version of the bike had been showcased under the Live Wire electric cruiser project, followed by a small guest appearance in a movie named Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“The new electric segments are set to launch in the next year, with more infrastructure facilities that include charging stations”, said Peter Mackenzie, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India.

Only a few motorcycle company had stepped forward to launch electric motorcycle like ‘Milwaukee’, an American based cruise motorcycle manufacturer, and KTM Australia with their electric off-road versions.
