Vagamon to Host International Paragliding Fest
We have all grown up listening to the story of Icarus and his father Daedalus who designed wings of wax and feathers to escape from the prison of King Minos of Crete. Despite the warnings of his father, Icarus flew close to the sun until his wings melted and he fell to his death. Though the story is all about the sad demise of the young boy, we have all wanted to try flying at least once in our lifetime. Here’s a chance to fulfill your dreams at the beautiful meadows of Vagamon at the International Paragliding Fest 2018.
The International Paragliding Fest Vagamon 2017-18 is not just about flying, it’s all about chasing your dreams, rising above your limits and flying over your destiny. Vagamon hills are all set to host this grand festival of flying from January 20 to February 18 at the Adventure Park.
Every year, from 2006 Vagamon sky gets colourful with countless paragliding enthusiasts from across the world to partake in International Paragliding Festival. This time, IPF Vagamon is organised jointly by the Vishwas Foundation in association with District Tourism Promotion Council Idukki, DTPC. Apart from flying, the event also host a lot more to the festivity, including an adventure arena called Thrill Zone, workshops of gliding and aero sports activities and cultural events.
