APTDC launches food zones in tourist hotspots

With an aim to attract more tourists to the state, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC), has set up food zones at three popular tourist spots in the state. The new facilities have been set up at Bheemili, Araku, and Yaradu beach. A drive-in restaurant has been opened in Araku Valley, a container restaurant has been opened near Bheemili, and a beachfront restaurant has been opened in Yarada.

“The motive behind setting up these zones is to offer wide options of cuisines to visitors visiting this place from various states, and also to provide them a suitable ambience,” said T G Prasada Reddy, Divisional Manager, APTDC.

The container restaurant was inaugurated by Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa whereas the beachfront restaurant built at a cost of Rs 2 crore, was recently inaugurated by the Tourism Department.
