IRCTC to exhibit one of its leading luxurious trains in Russia

IRCTC is taking one of its leading luxurious trains, the Maharaja’s Express to exhibit at OTDYKH Leisure 2018 in Russia. OTDYKH Leisure is the largest tourism event in Russia and the CIS, which enables the development of the tourism industry in Russia and facilitates the establishment of business contacts for representatives of the tourist market, as well as advertising of the country´s capabilities at an international level.

Maharajas Express has 23 huge carriages and runs on five circuits, covering over 12 famous destinations in India. The train features five deluxe cabins, six for junior suites, two for suites and one for a grand presidential suite. All passenger cabins come with air conditioning facility, LCD televisions, DVD players, direct dial telephone and internet facilities. Prices of cabins and suites of Maharajas Express start from $ 3,850 and goes up to $ 26,070.

The train is equipped with 110/230V sockets. Every cabin also has its own electronic safe deposit box. It has two dining restaurants that can seat 42 persons. The train is also equipped with a water filtration plant. One exotic Safari bar with the choicest collection of house brands of wines, beer and spirits with snacks are offered on a complimentary basis to every passenger. There’s also a lounge cum bar – Rajah Club and it also houses a high-end boutique featuring exquisite and unique creations.

The three-day OTDYKH Leisure offers a comprehensive programme for tourism professionals including a unique combination of educational sessions, countries presentations, seminars and networking events.

The twenty-fourth OTDYKH Leisure takes place from September 11 to 13, 2018 in Moscow. The event attracts exhibitors from more than 40 countries. Among them — the top-popular destinations: Thailand, Cyprus, Tunisia, Spain, Bulgaria. India will be represented as a whole country and by individual states of Goa, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. Totally, these countries were visited by more than 8 million Russian tourists in 2017.
